Porchgate Amish Heavy Duty Farmhouse Porch Swing

We looked at various online sites for a porch swing and ultimately decided on this one, even though it was a bit more expensive than other options. However, you get what you pay for. We could tell the porch was constructed really well and of super high quality. We have no doubt this will last us for years and years to come. Other reviews said it took a few hours to assemble .. it took my husband a bit longer (close to 6) but it may be quicker with help. The hardest part was tying the ropes in the right way so it was balanced. He had to re-tie a few times on each side, so more detailed directions on tying the ropes may be helpful for future buyers. The rope step in the directions was very general. It's made the perfect addition to our home!

Overall my experience was wonderful. It shipped really quickly. The only thing was we didn’t receive the instructions or the assembly pieces including the chains. I reached out to the company and they responded the same day and shipped the remaining parts and instructions within a couple days. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that this isn’t a regular occurrence. The customer service was wonderful and timely. I was very pleased. We love the comfort springs. It was easy to put together and my husband got it hung by himself. Only thing I wish the mounts were made of metal it would make me feel a little more secure. We have enjoyed sitting on it every night though.
