Return Policy

All of our goods are handmade in America, with most made to order upon your purchase. This means they are not mass produced and sitting on a shelf, rather they are custom crafted with the raw materials procured at the time of ordering.

Due to the handcrafted nature of Amish Lane products, not all artisans accept returns. If an item is nonreturnable it will be marked with the following statement below the add to cart button when viewing the product: "Please note: This item is custom crafted and cannot be returned."

For artisans who accept customer returns, we accept returns on eligible products in new, unused, and unassembled condition within 30 days of delivery. To remain eligible for a refund, all items must be returned in their original packaging. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the final refund to pay for the procurement of the raw materials for your order.

All returns are subject to inspection by our craftsmen upon receipt. If an item is returned in a condition deemed ineligible for a refund, the customer is responsible for the costs to ship the item back to themselves, or the item may be disposed of without a refund credit.

Cancellation and Change Policy

We move quickly to bring your project to life! You may cancel or change your order for a full refund at any time before it is sent to our craftsmen for production. We highly recommend reviewing your order confirmation immediately after purchase to ensure any necessary adjustments are requested promptly.

As many of our orders are processed shortly after placement (many the same day), please reach out to us as soon as possible for assistance. All cancellation requests are subject to approval and vendor confirmation.

If your order has already been sent to production at the time your cancellation request is received, a cancellation fee 15% may be applied to your final refund credit upon the approval of your request. We will verify the status of your order with the artisan and notify you of any fees associated before processing your request. As most of our items are made-to-order, some items may be ineligible for cancellation once production has begun.

Please be advised that certain order changes may require the original order to be cancelled and replaced to process correctly. Additionally, any modifications made to an existing order may cause lead times to restart from the date the change is finalized. All change requests are subject to approval and status verification with our craftsmen.

Exchanges
While we don't offer exchanges due to the made-to-order nature of our items, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Please reference the Return Policy above for insight into products ineligible for return as well as insight into our standard policy for returns.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
